Dear Niyam, Thanks for the offer to help. I knew that you had done some work on multimedia, but was not aware that you had this much expertise in it. I would have definitely asked for help from Vivek Khurana, and you, in any case. At the moment, I am waiting for the production folk to take a decision on how to proceed. Most likely, they are going to start work on Adobe Premiere Pro under Windows, as it has apparently been two years that they have been trying to get FOSS audio/video editing applications to work under Linux (though people only informed me Monday about the lack of progress in such efforts). I have offered to install Ubuntu Studio, and suggested using Windows in a virtual machine, but the final decision is up to them. I will let you know off-list as and when we require help.
