I would suggest not to force them to jump in FOSS, because if they do, their production will be effected, and chances are more that they would want to get back.. a bad name to FOSS then. Hollywood and big media postproductions/production houses uses Linux at many places, but they have commercial/proprietary tools available, but Free tools are not much for production yet (without major customization). eg. Maya for Linux and its plugins. Dreamworks and Rhythm & Hues uses Linux for its task, but they have customized solutions and even they presented papers on technical perspective of tools that should be developed in FOSS.
