BANGALORE: Country's third largest PC vendor Acer India has broken the laptop
price barrier by launching the cheapest entry-level notebook - Aspire 3680
series - at Rs 19,999.

Acer Aspire 3680 series uses a Celeron M 430 (1.73 GHz) and above; system
memory of 256 mb; and a 14.1" widescreen and combo drive. Of course, it does
not have Windows, but runs on Linux operating system. The Rs 19,999 price is
excluding the carry case and taxes and is being achieved via a special limited
period offer of Rs 2500 as cash back offer on purchases until June 25, or until
stocks last.
