Instead of getting a DSL router and a wifi router separately, you can get a combined ADSL wifi router. One device, less wires. It can even provide wired connection from its switch ports. Dlink has a couple of such routers. I am currently using such a dlink adsl wifi router connected directly to the Airtel adsl connection. Every other machine in the house - PCs, laptops is connected via wireless. Airtel gives you an option to use your own router and will give you a Rs. 100 discount over monthly rates if you do that. I am not sure if MTNL allows you to do that. - Sandip _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- [email protected] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
