Hi, again... Forgot to write couple of more things...
The router was purchased by me Cost: INR 4500(last year) You *might* not get enough support configuring the wireless router on linux from MTNL, if i may say so, as i experienced this.Once you reach the config page of the router, and fool the person on phone, as you are listening his windows specefic steps and executing them on linux, you can easily find your way :-) But then you have the ever so helpful delhi LUG, where you can get enlightened when you wish! ;-) As far as downtime goes, yes there was one occasion, when my telephone number was being shifted to another exchange.Three days no internet :-( Other than that MTNL folks now-a-days have a timeline of getting problems fixed in 24 hours,and they do call you to ensure the problem is solved, so you can escalate the problem!
