Hi!

I use Airtel broadband in DLF with a 256kbps unlimited connection,
which defaults to 512kbps, for Rs. 600 per month. I use a Netgear
DG632 router with built-in modem that I bought myself. This gets me a
discount of Rs 100 per month on my Airtel bill. I use a separate
8-port wired switch at home to connect 4 laptops and 1 desktop. The
arrangement works very well for me.

I have used Micronet ADSL modem cum router in the past. That got fried
due to electric voltage fluctuations. I have not been able to find a
service centre for Micronet as yet, despite many attempts at Nehru
Place. So try and steer clear of Micronet as far as possible.

The service from Airtel is very good and the Netgear router is also good.

FWIW, I would recommend them both.

Regards

Ayush Gupta
