I have a new 500mHz Imac that won't shut down. When I go to the Special
menu to shut down it just freezes up. Cursor still moves but can't pull
down a menu or do anything else. I have to hit the reset button then just
leave it on. During a recent thunderstorm our power went out momentarily
and the computer shut down. Don't know if the two are related because I
usually leave it running all the time so it is not known if was doing
this before the storm. Any ideas? Thanks, Barry
