Thanks everyone. It was a jumper problem. All is fixed and booted. Thanks for the help. I tell you what though, I can strip an iMac down in about 10 minutes now....guess something good came out of it.
Karl "Check your jumper settings against the schematics that came with the drive, or on the company's Web site. I accidentally had mine set as a slave and got the exact same problem.
