In most newsgroups and mailing lists like this one, it's considered good form to reply beneath the quoted text, like I am doing here. Of course you'll find people who feel strongly about top-posting too, but I prefer bottom posting for several reasons: 1. Most of the time I reply above the quoted text I forget to trim the footers, and to trim out the irrelevant parts of the last post, and get a semi-automated reminder message from Dan that makes me feel like an idiot. =o) 2. I think it makes sense to have the old stuff above the new stuff, since you read from top to bottom. 3.
