Hi Dale, iMacers:

I don't use OS X or mail.app, (still using Eudora 5.1.1 with OS 8.6)
but I believe that mail.app is software just for e-mail like Outlook
Express or Eudora that you set up to use with your ISP (EarthLink).

If you need help setting it up to use with EarthLink, here's a page
from EarthLink's Support on "How to Configure Mail for Mac OS X":
<http://support.earthlink.net/mu/1/psc/img/walkthroughs/macintosh/os_x/email/mail/2919.psc.html>

However, you can access any mail that you have on EarthLink's server
from any computer's browser, anywhere in the world by going to
<http://www.earthlink.net> and clicking on the "Web Mail" link in the
blue bar at the top of the page.
