The Reason your Rev A iMac runs so slow with Mac OS X Version 10.2, is because Mac OS X (Versions 10.0.0 - 10.2.2) Have no good Graphics Acceleration Support for Any of the early ATI RAGE Graphics Accelerators (ATI RAGE II, ATI RAGE IIc, ATI RAGE II+, ATI RAGE PRO, ATI RAGE PRO TURBO.) The only graphics accelerators Mac OS X supports are the ATI RAGE 128, ATI RAGE 128 PRO, ATI RAGE 128 ULTRA, ATI RADEON Cards and all the NVIDEA GEFORCE 2 - 4 Cards
