HI,

I am very sick of continually getting the following error message:
"Your internet connection was disconnected because of no response from
the other side. Please try again."

I have a flat panel 15" imac, 800, combo drive
OSX 10.1.5
Using IE 5.1
Earthlink

I am completely stumped: my network preferences have not changed, I
can't figure out what I could possible change in IE preferences (e.g., I
have it to disconnect if no activity for 15 minutes).

I don't even want to get on the internet anymore. Sometimes it works
OK, often it doesn't.

a. A page will load completely but the browser keeps searching for
completion and the blue bar remains at the lower right corner of the
page (extended to the end of its space) and then: the error message!!
b. Or the page simply refuses to load all the way and after a minute or
so the dreaded error message appears again

Sometimes I love my computer and all I can do on it.

Sometimes I hae my computer when it quits doing today what it did
perfectly yesterday.

Help urgently appreciated

dale g
