Help. Running Appleworks 5 on my iMac DVD, 400, G3 slotloader, with OS 9.21...and suddenly my spellchecker is gone and I have a dictionary and thesaurus option in its place. I haven't a clue as to how the spellchecker disappeared or how the dictionary & thesaurus option took its place (this is when you click the checkmark symbol on the toolbar).
I checked the OS 9 for dummies book and the OS 9 bible, but neither one devotes much space to word processing, much less the spell checker aspect. Doesn't IDG books realize that the word processor is probably the most heavily used feature? Aa-r-r-gh!! I want my spellchecker back! I'm just a fair typist, make lots of typos, and my spelling leaves much to be desired. Please help with solutions, if possible, or ideas and suggestions if you have them. Thank you very much.
