It's been up 24/7 since I got it as an open-box-special in January, 
1999.

Yes, I've tinkered some... the old rev.B now has 384 MB of RAM, a 500 
MHz HARMONi processor with a FireWire port, and a 40 GB hard drive.  It 
runs OS-X (v10.2.2) and it's performance is certainly not worse than it 
was with the operating system it shipped with (OS-8.6).  Strata 3D 
models render in no time at all.

No complaints about slow-downs brought on by heavy multi-media use -- 
no more than I would complain about my sedan not being a very good 
pick-up truck.  It does what it was designed to do -- and it does it 
reliably.
