Hi, Just installed Jaguar on my iMac (slot loading 500 mhz with 640 mb RAM). I cannot get over how slow it is compared to X.1.5 which I installed over. Maybe starting from scratch is the better way to go as some have suggested.
Everything is taking an incredibly long time to open and even on start up, it took over two minutes just to go to the desktop. I know that's not normal but can't figure out what is slowing it down so much. I would really appreciate any ideas. I am pretty disappointed thus far !
