Thanks, Allen. I thought I tried that once and it still bounced, but I'll try it again should the occasion arise. I'm using Apple's Mail app and though my preferences are still defaulted to Rich Text I don't seem to have a problem with messages bouncing. I'm assuming it'll only be a problem should I try to apply some feature of rich text. The OS X list I just joined asks that we Mail users turn off Rich Text as a default text, but I'm assuming that's only because some folks forget not to choose a font that's not the default font?
