I'm not saying you are wrong to believe what you believe.  All I am saying
is that I have hundreds of negatives on Norton and none on DW.  In
fact...being an ex-Apple employee and still working nearby Cupertino, I talk
with tons of service techs.  They would all laugh at a tech that even
thought of using Norton as a tool.   The program really is a joke.  I'm glad
you have found a use for it.
