It could be argued that by combining the song with your pictures, you have created a new work that is not derivative. There are also steps you can take to prevent the movie from being easily copied, and of course the fact that you are not profiting from this action is a factor as well. Even if it is a violation of copyright laws, it is a minor one relatively speaking: along the lines of downloading from the net an MP3 of a song you already own on CD just because you're too lazy to rip your own. This is but one example of the many "grey areas" that need to be addressed by a new, completely re-written copyright code. _Chas_ Come to ...
