To Gerry: Thanks for the Mactopia URL. I downloaded IE 5.1.6 and upgraded. Went very smoothly. So far OK. For the past few days in the course of surfing around looking for that website I've installed a few nice little apps that I found along the way: UltraFind 2.5.3 is a fast precise search program which I like better than Sherlock. Instead of 25 possible answers it gives you that precise one. Smart Scroll saves time. Thanks, Pat -- I found Mactracker. Wonderful! I've had FinderPop for a long time and don't think I'd manage without it. It's all so luxurious and powerful ... and time consuming ... and expensive. Lots of fun though! Mary Jo
