well...... they don't really get into OS 9. they're just on the hard 
drive. and even if you're partitioned, you can just as easily delete 
the files from the OS X partition while booted to OS 9 as you can if 
you aren't partitioned. partitioning doesn't really DO anything, it 
doesn't prevent you from trashing anything.
