Sure. Depends a little on the applications you're running, but it's 
certainly possible. Max out the RAM and try it. We run 10.2.4 on an 
iMac G3/350 and it's very useable. If you don't like the performance, 
reinstall your old system and go back to that. Worst case, you'll have 
more RAM and every OS likes that.
