No. I run OSX on a G3/350 and it runs just fine. (I am assuming
here you're not talking about a G3 accelerator on an older 
machine, which will have other OSX issues to deal with...)

Important things: 
 
 1) have a lot of memory (like 256M or more)
 2) get a fast video card if you can...
