Hi, > It's a 333 iMac, so RAM can help
Max out the RAM and get OSX and have fun. The iMac 333 will do fine. While you're installing RAM, a bigger hard drive is nice and relatively cheap. (Take the old one and put it in a USB box...) > a processor upgrade There are processor upgrades available for some pre-Blueberry iMacs, IIRC, but I don't think you'll need one if you've been happy with the speed until now. But get that RAM! > or a vid card (if I could even swap out the > pre-installed ATI). Sorry; if I had realized you were iMac-ing I wouldn't have brought it up. (as I sheepishly realize you're on the iMac and not the G3 list... -- I own several Macs so subscribe to several lists...) A lot of B&W owners do replace the cards, but this isn't an iMac possibility, and if you're going to spend that kind of money, a used B&W can be bought for a few hundred that will support upgraded video cards much better. No sweat. The installed one will do fine. > Thanks! Sure. Have a good time! -greg -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
