The funny thing was that the tech I spoke to on the phone told me that the
kids must be using the mouse wrong.  I said that it was a school...I work
with 140 students a semester...and they are not tossing the mice around or
swinging them over their heads like a lariat...just normal use for that
number of students.  I asked him to send me the directions for how to use a
mouse.  (I was feeling irritated after being on hold for on and off for over
an hour...)  The guy said there were no directions...I just chuckled,
knowing there weren't.

I actually posted this problem to this list a while back this year...and
others (who were not teachers) had had similar problems with the pro mouse.
