I am trying to think of a way this could somehow
benefit Mac OS 9 users over Windows users, but
can't: if the Apple Music Store requires as a
minimum OSX 10.1.5, iTunes 4, and QuickTime 6.2,
then all of us with Mac Operating Systems less
than that must upgrade in order to access the
Music Store.

But what will happen when the Music Store becomes
accessible to Windows users next month?

Of course there will be no requirement of *them*
to use OSX, so the upshot will be that Mac OS
9.2.2-and-under users will have to meet upgrade
requirements which will not be required of Windows users.

Maybe when the Music Store becomes accessible to
Windows, it will also become accessible to pre-OSX
10.1.5, but I doubt it.

Thoughts on this upcoming event?
