I've been running X since I switched from the PC in 2001. X is the reason I switched. It's rock solid and a great OS. Not ONE single crash, EVER! If you prefer to live in the past, you are depriving yourself of some of the really great things that the newer Macs have to offer as well as OS X. My present Mac is the 1 gig 17 inch iMac.....I LOVE IT! It won't even boot into OS 9 but still offers classic support. And as for iTunes 4.......EXCELLENT!
Don't deprive yourself!

Maybe when the Music Store becomes accessible to Windows, it will also become accessible to pre-OSX 10.1.5, but I doubt it.

Thoughts on this upcoming event?

Just another way for Apple to keep dividing it's core user group. Until the hardware is capable of moving the software at reasonable rates I am going to stay right here at 9. Jag is nice eye candy but no longer is the Mac fast, in fact it's livin in the past. So will I
