Hi there, I am running into numerous problems with my iMac. For eg. Exceptionally long start up times, icons freezing in dock when they start to bounce, frequent stalls and spinning colored wheel while using several different programs, etc etc.
I ran fsck and several errors came up - missing thread counts etc but even after 3 passes, they were still there. So...I now have two options - either erase the drive and start over (after backing up the HD of course) or buying a disk repair program. I was seriously considering Disk Warrior for these problems but are Drive 10, Tech Tool or Norton any better ? Amber -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
