Hi Jim,

I was able to get a hold of the OS 9 version of Diskwarrior and ran that on
my HD.  It took over 2 hours for it to sort out all the directories but
after it was finished, I restarted and all the disk errors were gone and the
start up speed to the OS X desktop went from 8.5 minutes (before the fix)
down to less than a minute after.

So..I am absolutely sold on DiskWarrior now and although this older
Diskwarrior did the job, I may still get the most recent version.
