As everyone knows, connecting an external display to the iMac is not supported by Apple and will void the warranty, a moot point in my case as the warranty expired three years ago. However, Apple does not say anything about the reverse, i.e. using the iMac as a display for another unit, say a PowerMac for instance. Has anyone ever done this?
