I'm looking at a replacement shell for an iMac and I asked the seller if he knew of a site that would show how to safely trade the plastic shell of an iMac. He offered to send me a PDF on how to dissemble an iMac but he said it would be 10 gig! Can that be true?
I'm sure he meant "10MB." I don't currently have the repair document you're referring to, but as it's a download from the Apple Developer Site I feel quite safe in saying it cannot possibly be 10GB in size.
