I emailed a while back regarding my internal modem not being recognized in the computer. With help from those on this list, I assumed that the problem was a bad modem card, so I bought a new one and took the mac apart to install it. All went fairly well- the modem card was put in, but I still have the same problem- the computer doesn't seem to recognize my modem. Problem 2: I also had a prblem a while back with my slot loading DVD ROM drive. It didn't expel disks very well. I messed with the drive, found it was properly placed, but thyere was a small, white plastic piece out of place, which I eventually popped back in. No luck, the drive still doesn't expel disks properly. Problem 3: the most recent. In the upper right and lower left corners of the screen, there is an unusual discoloration, purpleish red in the upper right, and yellowish green in the lower left. I have no knowledge of why this happens, but I do know that if I tip the iMac to the right, the problem gets worse with the lower left corner turning more red, and if I tip it to the left the problem disapears. Can anyone help me? Brian
