Actually, yes, I have a small speaker right nex to the iMac, however, when I move the computer away from the speaker the problem does go away a little, but not much. I've even booted the computer up on my lap, away from other electronic equipment, and the discloration still is there. [EMAIL PROTECTED] answered my emailing problem. It's AOL, so I'll just have to keep emailing via my alternate means or all my messages will get bounced back to me. Brian
