Anon, there's only *one* "Application Registry" on the entire HD and it's in the OS X folders. There is no such registry in the OS 9 folders.
I'm still hoping there's a valid solution!

There should be another "Application Registry" file in among your OS X folders. Replace it with a copy of the one that's in your OS 9 folders. Leave the profile folders where they are.

(I'm just assuming Netscrape still works like Mozilla, so I could be wrong here.)
