I went back and read your original message. You used Netscrape 4.7, which 
had different roots than the more recent versions (which are based on the 
open-source Mozilla project). It might help to upgrade to the latest OS 9 
version of Netscrape, try to import the profiles and then try the AppReg 
trick.
