I archive my pictures with iView MediaPro <http://www.iview-multimedia.com/>. This program creates a web page with a gallery of my photos. There are several templates to choose from. I then use Transmit <http://www.panic.com/transmit/> to upload the whole folder to my ftp site (drag and drop) and give my friends the URL.
