Subject: Firewire Burning With iTunes

Hi

I have a G3 iMac 400/128 running OS 10.1.5.

I just purchased an Iomega Firewire CD burner 40x12x48 and cant get iTunes 4 to recognise my drive. I installed Toast 5.2
Lite and it picked up my burner straight away.

Also I noticed (although I'm not that bothered) it doesn't burn in the Finder.

Can anyone help?

Simon

What is the actual drive mechanism? Apple System Profiler should tell you the specific part number, and you might just need to edit the burn support document. I have used a Toshiba combo drive in a FW housing and had to easily modify one file.
