I've bought a lot of ink from this guy: abacus24-7 <http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=abacus24 -7&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50> and I find it excellent. Black for a 740 is a $1.40 and color is $2.95, shipping is $4.95 1-100 qty. It made by an ISO9001 company. I'd say most of us are printing text 95% of the time so fading colors is not that big of a deal. I keep files of all photos worth saving archived in 2 or 3 places. If it fades after printing 5 years down the road I'll print another. If you're printing for others in a business situation, then that's a different matter all together. Remember if it's an Epson "use it or lose it". Mine is used daily and never misses a beat, "Knock on wood".
