Hello List,

I turn on my iMac, the image is dark, and gradually fades to black.

Is this a common problem with an easy solve? Or....

Thanks in advance, until our the next meeting

What System are you running and what were you doing before it started to happen ??

Have you updated the firmware to version 4.1.9 yet ??

Open your monitors control panel in OS9 and put the resolution to 640 X 480 and see what refresh rate is indicated. It should NOT be 117 MHz.
