I thought I had updated the firmware when I loaded OS X but this had me thinking so I looked in the monitor panel, while booted in OS 9 on a separate partition from the Classic that's loaded with OS X, and 640 x 480 shows a refresh rate of 117 MHz. But the actual firmware says not to bother because it's already been updated to Firmware 4.1.9f1... so what's this about the refresh rate?
