Okay here goes!
I have a 1 gHz 17" FP Imac. Have been operating w/o problems for just over 1 year. Suddenly, 3-4 weeks ago I began to experience computer freeze. I noticed it first by seeing the screensaver stuck and would not respond. After tapping multiple keystroke combos with no result, I powered down and restarted. Everything went fine for a while but, the problem persisted. Now, I am experiencing this problem 2-3x a day with no know recourse except to power down and restart. My brother in law came to assist. Ran Disk Warrior and Norton System works (?) to clean up the HD. Things returned to normal for 1 week then BAM! screen freeze.
I have read that Norton is not the most Mac friendly piece of Utility software and have since stopped using it. I have used Disk Warrior again hoping to correct what ever was going on. I have used the Disk utility software that is with OS 10.2.6 and I still have these problems. I have AppleCare and will try them also. But, any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Mickey
