I haven't had any problems at all. I'm running version 8? (not sure, newest version) on a Windows XP machine to network between that and two iMacs. The largest files I copy are 14-20 MB so I'm not sure on anything more than that. Try an updated version? Or email support? They should at least answer your question on the trial version since there's no sense in purchasing something that doesn't work.
