When is Panther coming out again? I ask because I plan on getting a new iBook within
a month or two. Even though the iMac I have will be leaving me after I get an iBook,
I still want to use it now on the internet and also I'll be trying to do this same
thing with the iBook, so this is a dry run. i'm fairly certain I found the right IP
address, but still not getting this sucker going- maybe I have the wrong sharename?
The adapter I selected was: accton EN1207D/EN2242A Seri(rest of name cut off)
I put in the following addres: smb://192.168.0.1/Compaq%20Presario
Unfortunately, I'm going to be stuck with Windows ME. It's a waste of money for me to
go out and pay $200 for XP, when I'm not even sure if it will work well on my system.
Man I hate windows.
