I just ran SU and it is telling me that I have to install updates that I know I installed months ago. The main one is the Superdrive Update that is a firmware update. Did installing Panther reset the Superdrive firmware back to the original version? The other updates are iPod ones that I did before. Again, how could Panther reverse updates on my iPod when it wasn't connected?
What's much more likely to have happened is that however you installed Panther wiped out the RECEIPTS that Software Update uses to remember which updates have been added and which haven't.
I imagine that if you downloaded and ran those updates they'd just tell you that you already have done so.
