A two iPod family....okay I am now in jealous mode..........
It works as all other families. I get the old first generation, 5 GB iPod. Junior Grade daughter has the nifty new 20 GB unit.

My son has the original iPod.......is the newer version much of an upgrade or just a bigger HD and a few bells and whistles?
I consider it a positive evolution. Cost per gig is reduced, moving parts replaced by solid state, more compact, etc.. We had no qualms about buying the new one. Well worth the investment. I cannot tell any difference in sound quality between the two.

Christmas is coming..........
and you can be sure that Steve and the gang at 1 Infinite Loop definitely know that. <G> Make a great Christmas present.

do you have an iTrip?
Nope. My old '97 pick'mup truck has a cassette deck so I use a cassette adapter.
