Since I did an Archive and Install, the "receipts" should still be in the Previous System Folder at a minimum. What folder are they kept in so that I can copy them into the new system?
/Library/Recipts as standard so your old ones will be in /Previous System/Library/Recipts
oops that should be /Receipts in both cases - it's only 7:48am here, can ya tell .... :)
Just thought I'd also add - do NOT overwrite anything that's already in your /Library/Receipts folder. This could cause a whole world o' pain.
Thanks, Mark.
I just checked and the iPod update is version 2.1 which is supposed to be for the dock-model iPods, so it will be interesting when I try and install it on my non-dock iPod. I checked the receipts and I have the iMacSuperdriveUpdate receipt in the previous system folder so I should be able to just copy it across to the new receipts folder?
