OK, Mac Addict just showed me in Letters column how to turn Debug on in Safari by typing some commands in Terminal. The commands as given are: (without quotes) "defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1" and that's supposed to provide a Debug Menu. I typed it but I can't find any such window. Where'd I go wrong?

First: it isn't a window, but a menu item that appears to the right of the other menu items. Getting things to work in the Terminal demands a fair amount of understanding of the CLI (command line interface), and just small errors can make unwanted results (I am a Unix administrator at work, so I know how bad thing can go, if you type wrong :-)). In any case, I would suggest anyone to use a small application like Safari Enhancer instead of hacking from the Terminal:

TinkerTool also allows you to invoke the Debug menu -- Sincerely, Dennis B. Swaney
