(I posted this previously on another list, but got no response; perhaps someone here knows?)

When adding (and entering a date in) the 'Birthday' field to Address Book cards in Jaguar, the result was always something like this: "Monday, November 3, 2003." However, after updating to Panther, the same entry shows just "November 3, 2003." I have not been able to find any information on how to regain the weekday -- does anyone know how to get this in Panther?

Note: After using iSync with my son's PB17 (which still uses Jaguar), all the cards show the weekdays on his but not on my iMac DV SE; the date format settings in the International preference are the same, so that's why I'm thinking it's a Jaguar/Panther issue.

Thanks,
Art
