I have a D-Link DI-713P w/ 3 port switch, wireless, print server, and
a back up 56k modem. and it never disconnects. In the web utility for
the router (192.168.0.1 in your favorite browser). On the setup page,
7th line down> Maximum Idle Time. I have 300 seconds and Auto-reconnect
is checked. My current connection time is 28 hours 16 min. I shut off the modem
for about 5 min. once in awhile. And other than that it never disconnects except for
a rare outage.
