When I rebuilt my desktop on my Rev B iMac just
now I saw with some alarm very quick flashes of
horizontal distortion on the monitor with an
accompanying electrical pop or crackling sound as
it was starting up. This happened three-four times.

This is new, but for the past +/-two weeks the
monitor has had intermittant "blinks" as I have
been working on it, as if there have been changes
in the electrical power flow.

Should I be more alarmed than I am already? Should
I take it in to a Mac tech? Is it fixable myself?

Thanks,
-Judy B
