How can I best connect my HP LJ5MP with a parallel port and mini (old style) Mac serial/AppleTalk connector ?
You didn't say if you were running OS X or OS9.
I was running my USB HP 632 (not supported by OSX) using CUPS, which I downloaded from the net. It worked for basic printing but was lousy on color. If you are going to connect a b/w laser, it won't make much difference about color.
If you are running OS9, there may be a driver on HP's site, but I didn't look for one.
